The Co-Operative Institute of Technology is a self financing Engineering College established by the Govt. of Kerala, under the Co-Operative Academy of Professional Education (CAPE). The College started functioning in June 1999.
The College is ideally situated on top of the Kakkoramala hills near Maniyur, Vadakara. The beautiful campus of the institute spreading over several acres equipped with the best of infrastructure provides an excellent environment to the students towards pursuing their academic education.
Admission to the College is done through the Common Entrance Examination conducted by the Government. 50% of the total seats which carry lower fees and 35% of seats in management quota with higher fees are filled through the Online Allotment System. 15% of the seats are reserved for the NRI students. The College has also acquired the permission to start MCA course from 2010 onwards.
